Parks & Facilities

The Coffield Community Center

The Coffield Community Center houses the administration office for the Sisters Park and Recreation District. It also offers a fitness studio, 3 classrooms and a community room.

Sisters Skate Park

We opened our skatepark to the community in the summer of 2012, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Skatepark Committee which was comprised local citizens including high school students and teachers.

The park features 3 mail bowls and a number of street features.

Hyzer Pines Disc Golf Course

SPRD’s Hyzer Pines Disc Golf Course is on of Oregon’s Premier disc golf venues. People from all over the state and beyond stop by to play this course set in the mature ponderosa pine trees.

SPRD Community Ball Fields

We have both a baseball and a softball field that are used by the Sisters Little League during their season, and are open to the public at all other times. These fields are located north of the SPRD building.

SPRD Bike Park

Working in cooperation with Blazin’ Saddles, Central Oregon Trail Alliance, Noble 911, and a local Boy Scout Troupe, Sisters Park and Recreation created the Bike Park 242 Project. The focus of the Bike Park project is to provide technical bike features to the community to practice their riding skills.¬†In fall 2015, Phase 1 of the project was completed with the creation of a pump track. The pump track is meant to be ridden for as many laps as possible without peddling. Additionally, a Sisters Boy Scout Troupe helped add a larger riding circuit next to the pump track. As the project gains momentum, more features such as balancing apparatus, jumps, and ramps will be added. Open: Sunrise to Sunset
