SOAR (Sisters Organization for Activities and Recreation) will be hosting our 13th Annual Sisters Shootout Basketball Tournament Series.

For the past 12 years the tournaments have hosted over 4600 teams in Central Oregon. The total participation is close to 50,000 basketball players and approaching 200,000 coaches, parents and fans.

Teams of 5th - 8th grade boys and girls come from all over the state of Oregon, Washington, California and Idaho to play in these tournaments. In addition to some great basketball we invite you to take advantage of Sisters area restaurants, lodging, shopping and recreation activities. Our local businesses are looking forward to your arrival!

Kids that have started their basketball days here include:Marty Luenen of Redmond, currently playing at University of Oregon Kevin Love of Lake Oswego, currently playing at UCLA Kyle Singler of South Medford, currently playing at Duke Abe Lodwick of Bend, currently playing at Washington State.

The main goal of the Sisters Shootout Basketball Tournaments is to have good competitive games, teamwork and stress sportsmanship. We look forward to seeing you this winter for some great basketball and fun in Sisters!
