Registration for SOAR Programs & Activities

SOAR has set up a new on-line registration program to make your registration easy.  The program is called ACTIVE NET and is very easy to use.  Set up an account and you'll be ready to register at your convenience at any time.

Program Registration Information - Four Ways To Register

Four easy ways to register! Please register for programs early to avoid programs from being cancelled due to lack of participation. All SOAR programs require a minimum number of participants in order to run a program..

1. ON LINE REGISTRATION:

We have a new online registration process to make
your registration easy. The program is called ACTIVE NET and is very easy to
use. Set up an account and you'll be ready to register at any time.
Follow these simple steps to access ON LINE REGISTRATION:
• Access the SOAR website at: www.sistersrecreation.com
• Click on REGISTRATION. REGISTRATION Sisters Recreation On-Line Registration   
• REQUEST ACCOUNT: Create an account: This will only take a few minutes.
You'll need a Visa,
Master Card, American Express Card or debit card. Once you have set up an
account you do not have  to repeat this step. Once you have created your
account, you will be able to manage your entire family's schedule, dates and
locations of your program, account information and other important
information.  There is a small convenience fee to use this service.
• VIEW PROGRAMS: Review the program listings and click on the program you
wish to register for.
• RECEIPT: You will receive an email confirming your registration.There is a
small convenience fee to use this service

2.  BY PHONE:

Call us at 549-2091 to register using your credit card.
Payment is due at the time of registration.

3.  FAX:

You may fax registration forms to 541-549-0997. Include your credit
card information. Payment is due at the time of registration. Please call us
to confirm that we have received your fax.

PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION

Out of District Fee Policy

Residents who live outside of the SOAR Recreation District boundaries are encouraged to participate in all programs. However, since out of district residents do not pay property taxes to support the SOAR Recreation District, they will be charged an additional fee:
•    One day programs = $5.00 Out of District Fee
•    Two or more day programs = $10.00 Out of District Fee

Credits and Refunds

If your plans change and you cannot attend a program, please notify us as soon as possible. Refunds and credits are readily granted for:
•    Programs that we cancel for lack of registration.
•    100% refund is given if you notify us 5 days in advance.
•    50% refund is given if you notify us 3-4 days in advance
•    No credits or refunds will be issued when we are notified 2 days or less from the start of the program.
•    Program fees are not refunded or pro-rated for participants who miss portions of programs.
Refunds will be credited to your account and can be used for other SOAR programs or upon request, we can prepare a refund check for you. There is a $5.00 processing fee for refund checks and they may take up to 3 weeks to process.
*If you register on line and cancel a program the registration processing/convenience fee is NOT refundable.

No News is Good News

Unless you hear from us, Go to your program or activity. We will call you if:
•    The program is canceled
•    There is a change in the program
•    The program is full

Check Policy

If your check is returned to us, you will be asked to replace the check with cash, cashiers check or money order plus a $20.00 processing fee.

Fee Assistance:

If you need assistance with program registration fees, please call the SOAR Community Center. We can set up payment plans and we have some scholarship funds available for families that qualify for assistance.
