How To Register
SOAR Registration Policies
Out of District Fee Policy
Residents who live outside of the SOAR Recreation
District boundaries are encourage to participate in all
programs. However, since out of district residents do not pay
property taxes to support the SOAR Recreation District, they
will be charged an additional fee:
One day programs = $5.00 Out of District Fee
Two or more day programs = $10.00 Out of District Fee

Registration for current programs is ongoing and can be done in 3 ways:
1. ON-LINE REGISTRATION: We
have a new on-line registration process to make your
registration easy. The program is called ACTIVE NET and
is very easy to use. Set up an account and you'll be
ready to register at any time. Follow these simple steps to
access SOAR ON-LINE REGISTRATION:
A) Access the SOAR website at:
www.sistersrecreation.com
B) Click on REGISTRATION
C) REQUEST ACCOUNT: Create an account. This
will take a few minutes. You'll need a Visa, Master Card,
American Express Card, or a Debit Card. Once you have set
up an account you do not have to repeat this step. There
is no cost to create an account and you are not obligated to
proceed or register for a program. Once you have created
your account, you will be able to manage your entire families'
schedule, dates and locations of your program, account
information and other important information.
D) VIEW PROGRAMS: Review the program listings and
click on the program you wish to register for.
E) RECEIPT: You will receive an email confirming
your registration. There is a small convenience fee to
use this service.
2. BY PHONE: Call us at (541) 549-2091. Please be
ready to pay with a credit card, as your place in the program
will not be guaranteed until payment is received. SOAR staff
will fill out your registration form and take payment over the
phone, but you will still need to fill out a waiver/release
form and fax or mail it to SOAR.
3. FAX: You may fax registration forms to (541)
549-0997. Include your credit card information. Payment
is due at the time of registration. Please call us to confirm
that we have received your fax.
4. IN PERSON:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Important: Payment is due at time of registration.
We accept check, cash, or credit card payments.
Credits and Refunds
If your plans change and you cannot attend a program please
notify us as soon as possible.
Refunds and credits are readily granted for:
-Programs that we cancel for lack of registration.
-100% refund is given if you notify us 5 days in advance.
-50% refund is given if you notify us 3-4 days in advance
-No credits or refunds will be issued when we are notified 2
days or less from the start of the program.
-Program fees are not refunded or prorated for participants
who miss portionsof programs.
Refunds will be credited to your account and can be used for
other SOAR programs or upon request; we can prepare a refund
check for you. There is a $5.00 processing fee for refund
checks and they may take up to 3 weeks to process.
If you register on line and cancel a program the registration
processing/convenience fee is NOT refundable.
No News is Good News
Unless you hear from us, Go to your program or activity. We
will call you if:
-The program is cancelled
-There is a change in the program
-The program is full
Check Policy
If your check is returned to us, you will be asked to replace
the check with cash, cashiers check or money order plus a
$20.00 processing fee.
Fee Assistance:
If you need assistance with program registration fees please
call the SOAR Community Center at 549-2091. We can set up
payment plans and we have some scholarship funds available for
families that qualify for assistance.
