Stars Over Sisters

This is a program to foster an interest in astronomy within the Sisters community by scheduling star parties at Sisters High School.  Knowledgeable instructors will guide spectators through the night sky, pointing out constellations, planets and other objects of interest.  Telescopes will be available for up-close viewing.  There is no charge and the general public is invited.

Instructor: Rima Givot (Sisters High School astronomy teacher)
                   and Ron Thorkildson (amateur astronomer).
Location:  The soccer field at Sisters High School.
Fee:  Free
