GPS Navigation

Ages 16+
Learn the basic operating features of hand held Global Positioning system (GPS) receivers.   Students will focus on how to navigate with receivers in any environment and with Map and Compass.  Designed for hand held GPS units.  GPS ownership is recommended.  This class is not suited for automobile mounted/portable systems.

Blake Miller is a 1975 graduate of Oregon State University (OSU.)   I joined the Navy as an officer and completed a twenty year career in 1995.  I returned to Oregon with my family in 1997 and settled in Redmond.  I started a small business in 1998 called Outdoor Quest that focuses on Global Positioning Systems (GPS), navigation training and mapping software sales and training.
