Simple Small Books

Curiosity, enthusiasm and a healthy sense of humor required.  Wear Casual clothes.  Bring Ephemera of your choice - Ephemera is best described as old paper goods, old photographs, decorative papers, sheet music, postcards, school yearbooks, maps, postage stamps, bits of antique lace, rubberstamps, buttons, shells, keys, items from nature.
Conditional Supply Fee:  There is a $25 supply rental fee, paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop, for anyone who would like to have the following supplies provided by the instructor.  The instructors do not accept credit cards, so be sure to bring cash or a check with you.  No supply fee for those who bring their own supplies.  Please indicate your preference when registering for this workshop.
Required Supplies:
A small variety of papers you wish to use for the text of your books in various colors
Binder's needle and waxed linen thread (Embroidery thread also works well *Be sure the needle has a large eye)
Scissors
Glue stick and/or Elmer's glue
Thick sponge
Mat knife, metal ruler and small cutting board
Rubber stamps, alphabet sets, ink pads

Please note: There are a few stairs to climb to get to the studio at Sisters Art Works.
