Mastering Acrylics

Conditional Supply Fee:

There is a $20 supply rental fee, paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop, for anyone who would like to have the following supplies provided by the instructor.  The instructors do not accept credit cards, so be sure to bring cash or a check with you.  No supply fee for those who bring their own supplies.  Please indicate your preference when registering for this workshop.
Required Supplies:
Matt medium, gloss medium or glazing liquid medium
Palette: cookie sheet, Styrofoam plate or meat tray, or plastic palette
Pencil, kneaded eraser & sketchbook or paper
masking tape
Grounds: 5x7, 6x6 or 8x10 piece ampersand gesso board or textured clayboard & one 11x14 piece of Arches watercolor paper 140# CP
Paints-basic palette:
Indian Red
Pthalo Turquoise - Golden liquid acrylics
Titanium white
Primary red (choose one): Quinacridone crimson, Alizarin Crimson, Quinacridone Rose, Naphtha red,  Permanent Rose
Primary yellow (choose one): Azo yellow, Hansa yellow, Cadmium yellow pale, Cadmium lemon
Primary blue (choose one):Cobalt blue, Pthalocynine blue, Cerulean blue, or ultramarine blue
Optional but of interest: Burnt sienna, raw sienna, yellow ochre
Brushes: Large 1" flat bristle or synthetic brush,
        ½" bristle or synthetic brush
        ¼" bristle or synthetic brush
        Size 1 or 2 liner brush for detail
