Comprehensive Plan

Strategic Plan

In 2007 The SOAR Recreation District will be working to develop the District's first Strategic Plan. The Plan will be developed with involvement from Board members, staff and the community. It will serve as a blueprint for the District to direct the development of:

- Recreation program services for our growing community.
- Recreation facility development in the Sisters Area.
- Funding strategies to support programs and facilities.

If you are interested in helping with the Strategic Planning process, providing input into the plan or having a presentation made to your organization please call SOAR Executive Director, Carrie Ward at 549-2091.

Partnerships

We have many important partners in the community that help to fund and offer programs, build facilities and address community needs. These partnerships allow us to do more in the community, programs and projects, which would not be possible to produce with our existing resources. There are lots of ways we can work together so please call us to today and let's discuss the possibilities.

Business Partnership Program

The SOAR Business Partner Program is an opportunity for business to help make a real difference in the community by helping to support the youth recreation and development programs at SOAR. Business partners make an annual, renewable commitment to support SOAR in the form of materials, facilities, equipment and/or money. In turn, SOAR will give you opportunities to advertise your business and align your company with this important community organization. Instead of making several small donations throughout the year which can "get lost in the shuffle", your annual contribution will be hard hitting! You will be able to see the direct results of your generosity.

We would like to extend the following offer to your business to play a significant role in SOAR's long-term success and viability. Business Partnerships come in all shapes and sizes and we would love to talk with you about how we can support your good work while helping to support the positive development of young people in the Sisters area.

Please call Carrie Ward, SOAR Executive Director, 549-2091
